Notre Dame’s threes are Clemson’s now

Cole Certa hit 81 threes for the Irish last season, 30 of them in February alone. Now he’s shooting for Clemson.

Cole Certa’s 2025-26 season at Notre Dame had a shape to it. He made 81 threes, and 30 of them came in February. That’s more than a third of his season packed into one month, right when the schedule gets serious.

He’s at Clemson now, and he picked up where he left off: three made threes in the exhibition against Georgia.

Why February matters

Plenty of shooters start hot and fade once scouting reports catch up. Certa went the other way. His 30-three month came when teams had months of film on him, which says the shots he gets aren’t just open looks that dry up.

30 threes in one month.

The question for Clemson is how many he makes in orange. If February was a preview, it’s a lot.
